Black Monday

Great, the first thing i get to know when I arrived in office, is that I can't boot up my laptop...hard disk "died". What a way to start your Monday, the best is that I didn't have most of the things backup, that's second great news. Sigh, i shouldn't have wear all black today, finger cross that the MIS guy will be able to help me to retrieve my data back. This is really a super black Monday!

Thank God It's Friday

Phew...finally is Friday, and I have sometime to breath in between the work. The past few days are really mad in work, non stop meetings, request, updates to customer, etc. There's nothing much to update for this week, other than work is just work. This weekend I am just going to relax, and spend some time with Mel and her babies :) Okie, need to get back to work, am actually waiting for a conference call from customer.

Unproductive Saturday?

Been out the whole day yesterday, went to see a very sickening movie in the afternoon, which I end up with an upset stomach. But I feel more sorry to drag him along to watch this movie with me, what a bad choice for a relaxing saturday, hehe... Later at the night, thinking to spend a quiet night reading some novel, but soon I was dozing into sleep before I even finish Chapter 1. That's a very unproductive saturday, but shouldn't I be relaxing in the weekend instead of thinking of work? Okay, got to move now, need to finish off a couple of things before i go for my yoga class this afternoon. Hopefully will have some time to continue with the novel reading later on. ;)

Sleepy-ing

Thought of coming online to check on the MAS air fair and to do some blog, but ending up chatting with a few friends and I am now feeling damn sleepy... May be will do it tomorrow. Anyway, got too much to write about and I have no idea where to start from... Good night then.

It's called the mother instinct!

My darling mel has given birth to 4 pretty kittens yesterday. It was my cousin that discover one of the babies left by her under my father's car. Out of no choice, we brought the baby to see the vet and get some milk to fed the baby. Luckily by the evening, we managed to find mel with three other new born babies hiding under a water pipe next door. Immediately when we return the left out baby to her, she start licking and kissing on the baby. The same evening, we were trying to move them to a cleaner box but didn't manage to do it because she is very protective over her babies and refused for us to take her babies. Well, serious speaking, mel is not even one year old, and before she is pregnant, she is such a "manja" cat that we all worries that she might not able to handle the pregnant and after birth situation. It proves that we are worried over unnecessary things. She gave birth on her own, taking very good care and loving her babies without anyone teaching her. This remind me of what my friend once told me, there's no need to be prepared to become a mother, once you have your own kid, you will know how to go about it. I am totally agree with it now, mother love is definitely one's basic instinct, it just come naturally when it's the time.

The Reunion of "Zhan Qing" Family

"Zhan Qing" or the kindred spirit is a hong kong drama series of a big family which lasted about 300+ episode. It's also what we called ourself in the IBM gang, the zhan qing family. We got to know each other in the year of 2000, though half of us had left the company now, we still keeping in close touch. Yesterday, is one of the occasion that we gather again, though two of the married man didn't join. We went Ben Lo house for CNY visiting, hehe, you probably can guess what we do. Well the point is it is definitely a great night to be with them all, all kind of silly jokes, Uncle Chong's super bad luck in all the games, we just couldn't stop laughing. I have to say I have not be that relax and enjoy for such a long long time. This is the friendship that I will definitely cherish and hope will last forever and ever.

Scam o Rama

I received email from some chap called Frank Addo today. Claiming himself as the only son of his father late Mr Peter Adjei Addo (a very successful cocoa merchant), he is left with some huge amount of inheritance (10 million USD dollar). However due to some reason, he has no direct access to the inheritance and therefore would need my help to act as the beneficial. By doing so, he will spare me 30% of the money! Knowing that there is no free lunch and such good luck in the world, I did a search in google just to find out what kind of scam is this. Not suprised, the first result already showing the word "Scam o Rama" of Frank Ado! It turned out to be an interesting story of someone pretending to fall into the scam, and posted their corresponding emails along...By the way, in this chapter F.Addo has become the elder son to the Minister of Mines and Energy who was killed during the Sierra Leonean war by the rebels. Sigh... this is actually the second time I am receiving such emails...If this is true I would already inherit tens of millions of money (in USD!) and be as rich as the queen, haha...I wonder what will be the next story...Don't mind it anyway, it's a good laugh and entertainment for my bit of dull life ;p

Feng Shui = Prosperity:?

Just when I am still thinking of how to spend the 10 days holiday, the long break was over. Happy time doesn't fly, it >>>>>>>>>>zoomed pass U ! So the CNY break is over, back to working life again, though the first day is not so bad, coz most of the ppl still in CNY mood. Think I should change my blog theme to some red or pink colour to mark the new beginning of a lunar year, but couldn't find anything else nice from the existing template. Hmm, does that mean I am going to have bad luck for the rest of the year? Watched the Lilian Too Show with my family yesterday. It was about a good Feng Shui of a house, according to her, the main entrance door should not be right under the first floor washroom, the dining room area should be the same level or higher level than the living room, and the staircase shouldn't have gaps in between the steps, which none of it fitted to the current house we are living in. Thus we had a big joke of getting the house renovated, and since it is too troublesome to level up the living and dining area, papa suggested to move the living room to dining area and vice versa. I think that's quite the right attitude, instead of being panicked of the bad things, we just had a good laugh...But who knows the next time we renovate the house, we might follow the Feng Shui Tips, LoL.
