Happy Chinese New Year

Can't believe it's going to be Chinese New Year, i am definitely not mentally prepared to celebrate it yet. My friends would ask me what do you need to prepare? I guess is because after CNY, you felt like you are another year older and that means you should take up more responsibility with you... Anyway, is good to have this one week break for CNY, and be able to meet up with all the long not seen relatives as I missed the CNY celebration last year. Come to think about it, it's going to be nearly a year since i came back from UK. It's not a long period, but many things happened in this one year which make it felt like a long long time ago. I am not sure if I achieved the things that I wanted to, but I am quite sure I am more happy now and I do hope that my family are more happy with my presence. Okay, tot this is going to be a short one, but i start rantling again. Need to pack my stuff, as usual the last minute thingy before going back to my grandma place for the CNY. Gong Xi Fat Cai, and hope everyone will be prosperous, healthy and happier in the coming year!

Rembrandt sky over Malaysian soil

Emi Fujita was in KL last weekend to promote her latest album - Rembrandt sky. She held a live performance in hard rock last saturday and that was the recent best ever live performance that I ever been. With just a pianist and a guitarist, Emi turn the atmosphere into heaven with her angel liked voice. There couldn't be a better way to spend a Saturday night like this. To read more on Emi Fujita...

A havoc week

This is going to be a long long post, coz I have not update my blog for more than one week, that's a lot of things to say. Last week is definitely a havoc week, many things are on going, work and personal life... Talking about work, having 2 close colleagues to leave at the same time is defintely very demotivating, not to say the more workload and pressure. Personally, trying to balance between work and own life, spending more time with friends at their low peak...life just seem to get more tough...feel like a bit suffocating. Anyway, did enjoy a good night out on Friday, went to the Emi Fujita Live performance on Saturday, and tidying up my room on Sunday. So there are still some brownies point for the week. I am checking on the friendster web site now, but is so damn slow...Guess by the time I finish with this blog, the page still won't load up. Think I have gone too far of what I want to say, this weekend I have been thinking of setting new year resolutions, haha, although is 2 weeks late by now, still is better than nothing. The very first is to cut down on shopping, I just re-organise my closet, and realise that I really had too many clothes, some I don't even remember having it. That's really bad Karma ;p. Secondly, I think I need to be more aggressive in taking up the learning curve in my job...not to say I am lazy in the past, but I think some organisation and plan will do me better. Thirdly, I should always remind myself not be too demanding on myself...which I already did for the past 2 weeks. Guess that's the bad part of me, always wanted to do till the best in the shortest time...need to be more patient lady! Sigh, the friendster page is still loading, don't think I will be able to check up my friends' photo and blog. Will leave it to other night then...shall prepare to go to bed now...Nite.

Taipei - KL

I almost missed my flight this morning! Yes, that is so not me! Well, I set my alarm on the mobile, then I went to sleep, then the next thing I knew it's already 7.30am when I woke up by an incoming text tone! I was suppose to wake up at 6am, and left the hotel at 7am! Dunno what happened to the alarm, I don't even recall having heard it and pressed it off. Thank God, my sister text me at the right time, she actually save me from being too late...hehe, think I owe her a big one. Well, well, why was I over slept? That's because I slept late the previous night. Been sightseeing around in taipei city after the customer meeting. Then met up my colleagues for a few rounds of food in the "SHI LIN" night market. Later we went for this outdoor natural spa in "YANG MING SHAN". Having a hot spa in the winter is definitely one of the most enjoyable things to do. Imagine sitting in an outdoor big hot pool of 42 celcius with the temperature around just at 10 celcius, enjoying the peace of the night, and the chirpping of insects around the woods...It's just so relaxing and mind calming. After the hot spa, all of us felt hungry and went for late night supper. We had sweet potato porridge with some side dishes including the famous spicy smelly tauhu, chatted for a while, then head back to the hotel. That's why I ended sleeping late, after the packing and some email replying, I think it was almost 3.30am in the morning... Anyway, I am safely back home now, that's more to do after leaving home for a few days, washed clothes are pilling up on my bed, works in office to follow up. But I guess may be I will steal some time tonight to continue the left behind TV series that I am following. After all, I still have the weekend to finish my work, and it's really difficult to make urself working on a Friday night.

I am in Taipei - Part 2

The Taipei part 2 is just a day of prolonged meetings, then dinner with clients. No time for any shopping yet...err i mean shopping for CDs and books...hehe Was passing by a shop that sell pearl milk tea, but my stomach is just too full to take in anything even my favourite drink. Okay, have to stop typing like this [ I am actually lying with my stomach on the bed], this is a very bad posture as my left shoulder is aching like hell now. Need to get back to work...another time then.

I am in Taipei

Just four hours difference, I am already in another city that is so different yet so similar to Kuala Lumpur. Yes, I am in Taipei now, just arrived in the hotel, and was told to wait for my room, coz the previous tenant was suppose to rent the room for 10 hours. Just while I wait for the receptionist to swipe my credit card and record down my details, there are ppl coming in to ask for a room to rest and ppl checking out. They are all single male, hmm which makes me think what kind of hotel is this, that ppl just hopped by for rest? Can't they just go home? This is definitely a strange place, and I don't think I need to find out why. Well, havn't got a chance to look around yet, this is my second time in taipei after 5 years time. Anyway kind of like the weather now, cold but not freezing. Hope i can pop by the 7-11 to get my favourite pearl milk tea later on. Gotta go, better check out the emails.

A new year ahead

There goes year 2005, and the beginning of 2006 was welcomed with breath taking fireworks display. May be is the age, I really think peaceful moment like this is getting more and more precious to me, for not having to think of any work, any problem, and just leave my mind blank and enjoy the moment of happiness. Well, it's a new year, I think I should be thinking more optimistically than the past few months. I literally stop writing about beautiful things in life, and always think so gray recently. What happened to the happily sagittarius? Wonder it is the age problem again? haha.... I have not set any new resolution for this year yet. Will it be shredding off a few kgs that I had put on last year? Will it be having a better control on my bad habits such like shopping too much? Will it be how many countries to visit in a year for travelling purpose? I think these can be done easily if I have the determination, but for sure there is one thing that I wish to do but is totally out of my own control... Just hope for the best in this year! It's a new beginning anyway.
