It's a freezing Friday

Okay, its just the mid of november, and temperature is already dropping to 2 degree at the moment. Just heard from the colleague it is even snowing in Nottingham and Sheffield. What the heck? We are only in the autumn...what would it be when it comes to January or February time?

Weekend Fiesta

Yesterday is Hari Raya, I went to the Malaysian Student Hall's Open House in Inverness. Thought that the event is only started at 1pm, but by 12pm, almost all the food is gone... This is only the chance where you can see so many malays in the London area. I was supposingly to take more food, in case that I can't finish, another friend could take it. But I didn't scope enough...and my friend keep reminding me that he is hungry and cold because i didn't take for him...So he nag all the way while we heading to china town for dim sum. Talking about the dim sum, this is actually my first time to eat dim sum in Chinatown. Honestly, neverthought of having dim sum here, is because this is UK! We should go and try fish and chips, western food and etc... So this chinese restaurant is a typical traditional one, is like time has flipped back 20 years ago, with all the waiter and waitress pushing the trolley to sell all kind of dim sum. Food although is not as good as what i expected, but is really a good experience. Well, it may sound very plain for rendang and dim sum in malaysia...but having all that in london within a day its actually a very luxury thing and definitely satisfying!

The 11th of Nov

Suprisingly, my mood has turn up so good since this evening...can't be due to the more and more work to do in office right? Helpless workaholic. May be is the 10 days xmas break, kind of excited when thinking about it, it will be a really good time for me to catch up on some reading of books and magazine...though some are work related! My hair has become extremely difficult to manage this 2 days...dry like the straw with the perm. Wonder if there is any magic cream that I can use to hold the curl really nice....d*mn the UK weather...Was wearing my turtleneck knit wear today, manage to stand the cold in the morning and evening when outside of a building, but i got so warm in office during the afternoon when the sun is shining directly through the window...believe it a not...i actually got the AC turn on despite a 9 degree temperature outside...No wonder when ppl said you can get four season in a day.

Miss Singleton

Like Bridget Jones, I am also a singleton in London. But on the lucky side, she is a whopping size 14, and I am a petite size 6. I don't recall if I had seen the first movie, but the second one is quite good...romantic, touchy, down to earth some of the time, all in one. And because it was film in London area, many of the places are so familiar and it added some sensitive touch to the movie for me. Well, if you are a singleton and still looking for some romance, this movie is highly recommended...go alone, so you might meet some one special in the cinema ;) By the way, musics are all nice, thinking to get it's soundtrack.

My holiday is over... :(

Well, well, as much as I was looking forward of going home, the holiday was over now... And here I am back to the miserable UK...Wonder if i can stand to stay 2 years here, may be is time to go home when I really feel to. To have a change, I had my hair permed, it turn out to be quite nice, but at the same time also added like 5 extra years to my actual age. I dunno if there is anything to it, but since the day I had my hair permed, i am being very sensitive of ppl calling me madam instead of miss...The guard in Giant, the custom officer and the air stewardess on the flight...What's wrong with all of them? Hehe...or me?
