Wisdom of Rain

Yesterday was the mid-autumn festival. I wasn't as home sick as the other chinese colleagues, most probably because I am going back home soon...Though the 2+ weeks still seem far enough... Was asked by one of the MD, what is the mid-autumn festival about...hehe such a shame that I can't tell the proper story about it...only remember bits and pieces... I just registered a domain name for myself... www.WisdomOfRain.com hmm, have not thought of it's usage yet... Any suggestion?

Get your PC protected!

Okay, is not that I don't aware the few spyware problems and the need to update "PATCHES" of windows...But dealing with it just a task that is too daunting and time consuming, and these are always the things that you always said you will do it tomorrow when you have some time! *LOL* So I finally set aside some time today to do a great deal of maintainence for my lappy that I have ignore for a long long time...Downloaded the spybot and was quite shock of the number of problems it found after checking through my harddisk ... (coz I tot I had always been very careful of spyware, virus and etc...) I now understand why my home pc always got crash, getting slower and slower, non ending problems under the usage of pc dumb like my dear pa and sis (sorry for saying that, but it's a fact!) Well, back to the story...Fixed all the problem with spybot, took the painful process to download and install XP SP2...and now I am well protected! Does it not? Haha...time will tell the answer...

A day to remember

This is a day to remember, For those that have lost their love one, Time will never be able to erase the pain, Just hope that tomorrow will be better, and world peace will not be a dream!

I am revamping the company web site now, thinking to incorporate a CMS, research on a lot of commercial package, already narrow down to 2 options now. But today, I came accross to one open source CMS package... review is pretty good, high rating from all the users. Looking at the commercial package which could range from ?2K to ?30k...why would ppl still willing to spend that much if the open source package are that good...anyone have any answers? More open source software can be found at http://www.opensourceCMS.com . A colleague was saying I look pretty in my hair style today...actually it is because I forgot to take of the clip from my hair yesterday while sleeping...and that's why the fringe became wavy....*o*...beautiful mistake! Hmm, been developing some pain on the left shoulder this few days, think I shouldn't placed the laptop on the living room coffee table...bad for my posture.

*Opps*, how many weeks have slip through? Was in Borders yesterday, yes, went out for a business trip, haha, but manage to sneak some time out to pay the book shop a short visit. Then came across this book called "Save Karyn", is a story about how a young chick got to pile up a $20k debt and started a web site to ask ppl to help paying her debt. Trust me, is a true story, still not believing? Go to this website then, http://www.savekaryn.com... Once you start to read the page one, you can't stop yourself flipping one after another...But I didn't buy the book at the end, partly because I still have a few books at home waiting for me to read, mostly because I wanted to save the ?6.99 (as highly inspired by Karyn) ... Hmm, got an error uploading a pics of my sweet little Biscuit Bear...will try tomorrow then...Almost time to bed...nite nite.
