30-08-03 Saturday Just as everybody thinking that autumn is arriving early this year, the weather is kind of turn warmer for these 2 days. It's good to see some sunshine again...at least bring some bright to the dull drag life. Still feeling stress for the thesis writing, a bit happy because i knew i will soon relieve from it, sad also as most of the friends will be going back home after the course, then quite excited of the coming europe trip...so the feeling is actually a pot of everything...

26-08-03 Tuesday Once upon a time, there was jack and the beanstalk, stolen a singing chime from the giant, that live high above the clouds. Now, here am I, all on my own, tryin to reach the sky, to get the star glazing above, although afraid of falling down, still got to be strong, for ppl that look up at me.

22-08-03 Friday I started to write my thesis yesterday...well, it is actually more on compiling, restructuring and editing at the moment. Because the first 2 chapters of the thesis has been written as part of the last semester module requirement...It is quite difficult to start up, but as it is always said...once you are on the track, it will go on full momentum. However, i am kind of slow down today...brain is draining up...and i will definitely having more hard time when i come to the results and discussion chapters. OH...how long does this still have to go on? I had a proper hair cut yesterday, finally. It is not really perfect, but good enough to make me feel fresh and to kick start my thesis writing...Hehe...you might be wondering, wat's hair cut to do with writing thesis...Hmm, hope that i can finish off with chapter 3 by tonite.

19-08-03 Tuesday Oops...i just knew it...another week just slipped away. Although have been working a lot on the project...but no much achievement was made for the past week...sigh...wat a pityful thing. Well, there is just less than 4 weeks left before the due date...a day that's so near yet seem to be so far...I can't wait for the day to come....yet it is just like i am never going to complete the thesis...pain and suffering is growing n growing...Learning is fun, but sure will be a painful one when you got to reach expertise in a limited time. Suprisingly, i lost 3kgs over the pass 3 weeks. Not sure if i do put on any weight back...being lazy last week for the work out...also didn't care of wat i put into the mouth...although most of the time i just eat without even properly tasting the food! Sleeping time has become disorder....i am sleeping at the time i was not suppose to sleep, waking up at the time i am suppose to sleep...wat a mess in life now...

11-08-03 Monday So it is another monday...just heard from Mix FM that today is the chinese ghost day. Oh, i know it is the month of ghost in chinese calendar...but just didn't realise half of the month already gone! Well, well...been very busy recently...with all the things in the head...tempered become uncontrollable, guess that if there was any ghost nearby, they will sense the "fire" burning on me and got frighten away. Haha... This week weather has become rainy and windy again...the sun is gone...same with my mood. :(

09-08-03 Saturday I didn't realise that i hav not update my blog for a few days again! Phew...this week is totally a disaster to me...data, data n more data to be processed...now my brain is full of Ex and Ey, X-coordinate, Y-coordinate....etc. You not only have to extract data from a 30MB text file...present in graphical format...but u are also talking abt generating meaningful graph...and not crap... It's only another one month left before the dead line of thesis submission...great sh*t, damn pressure now. If you are feeling bored of your life now...try to take up a master course...the courseworks, exams, and thesis sure going to make your life a excited one...just like the riding of a roller coaster!

06-08-03 Wednesday Today is a remarkable day....guess wat? It is the hottest ever day in this year for UK with the highest reaching 35 degree. Weather forecast has predicted that the temperature will break the past years record to 100F, seems like everyone is waiting for it to happen...But wat's hidden in behind? Meaning that global warming effect is really a serious problem here. On the way back from movie, i was sitting comfortably at the back seat of the car, listening to a very soothing song while looking at the pieceful night out there. It suddenly come to my mind that....days before i was here to study....back at home....when i stay late at the night....i always wonder how is it to look at the sky at night in the UK mainland...Now that i am here....but i am just too carried away with some worries and burden...why not let go all of it....and just enjoy the life...slow down a bit and look around...

05-08-03 Monday Another new week has started...which means i am left ard 6 weeks to my thesis dead line...Met up with my 2 supervisors today...found out that i still need to do a further work to guarantee a safe "grade B". Man! After all the works done , i am still not even half way yet? Gosh...now i feel the pressure... Weather has really turn out HOT this week. Heard the news saying that this year summer has been the hottest one since 19xx, couldn't remember the exact year...but the main point is....the temperature will go up to 37.77 Celcius of the highest this coming wednesday....Hmm i swear, either i will go to the lab early in the morning n stay in there the whole day for the air-cond...or will just stay in the house...Definitely not going out under the hot burning sun... :p

01-08-03 Friday I've been a bit lazy today...didn't go to department. However, i did do my work at home, running the simulation at my lappy, but i guess the one i am doing now will be the last for today, coz i don't want to overload my lappy... it's really been a hard work for it to run at 99% of CPU usage for such long hours. I was just browsing through the PRAGUE guide book, looks like a very interesting city to go...with all the guide books on my shelf now...including Italy, Paris, Munich, South of France, Germany, Florence & Tuscany, Austria, Venice, Amsterdam and the one general guide for the overall europe, I believe i will already have a good "virtual" trip by just reading those books without being there physically! Looking forward to it...
